Remedial works were carried out across 32 balconies at this operational aged care facility, focusing on deteriorated concrete, balustrade components and protective finishes. The works included concrete repairs, replacement of balustrade fixings and top rails, and the application of UV-stabilised coatings to protect exposed surfaces.
Working within an aged care environment required careful staging, controlled access and close coordination with facility management to minimise disruption and maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
